Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Large and Efficient

Samsung made Galaxy Note products to bring the best widescreen smartphone, but the best side of the latest Galaxy Note 10 is how small the smartphone is. The 6.3-inch screen is one of the most compact widescreen screens because of the Infinity-O screen and some features that Samsung discarded in the production room. Note 10 offers improved S-Pen, a better camera for video recording, and a way to connect a smartphone to a PC.

Note 10 does have advantages and disadvantages. We won’t be able to find a headphone jack or microSD card slot (although this is still in the Galaxy Note 10 Plus). Note 10 screen is also not as sharp as its predecessor’s screen, but the difference is not very visible.

The biggest design change when compared to other Samsung smartphones is the full screen with the front facing camera section at the top center of the screen. Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus both have a selfie camera on the right side. Note 10 has a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. This includes HDR 10+ technology and because Samsung hasn’t implemented the QHD display, this is what makes people impressed. We can use the phone in the sun naturally. The quality of the screen seen outside the room is extraordinary.

The S Pen enhancement in the Note 10 smartphone includes gesture control which allows us to control certain applications, such as cameras, videos or galleries, by moving the S Pen in a different direction. Currently, the feature is only limited to Samsung applications, but the company allows third-party application developers to access this feature. Maybe we can see third-party applications start using it the next few months.

US citizens will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset on their smartphone. If you are in the UK or other countries around the world, you will get a new Exynos 9825 chipset which is built using 7nm EUV technology. This allows Samsung to make chipsets smaller and more efficient. The company has chosen to insert the latest chip in Note 10.

This smartphone has a RAM capacity of 8GB and only has a storage capacity of 256GB without microSD support. Samsung said that this was done so that the size of the smartphone remained small. That is a large enough storage capacity for the average person, but if you want more capacity, you should choose Note 10 Plus which is equipped with a storage capacity of 512GB and microSD support.

Another feature that has been removed to keep the Note 10 looking slim is the 3.5mm headphone jack. This is the first time Samsung has not used the headphone jack of their high-end smartphone. There are some people who are not happy with that decision. We have to use the USB-C port on the bottom of the smartphone to use headphones and that means we have to replace some of the cables we use nowadays.

Samsung decided to use a battery with a capacity of 3,500 mAh in Note 10. This smartphone has a wireless charging feature and we can use the Samsung Wireless PowerShare feature to charge other compatible devices such as headphones, smart watch, or other smartphones from Note 10.

If you are looking for a smartphone with 5G support, then the Galaxy Note 10 is not your choice. You have to buy the more expensive version of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G to get the feature. If you already use the Galaxy S10 or S10 Plus, you will realize that the Galaxy Note 10 camera is not an enhanced camera from its predecessor. This smartphone uses the same combination of 16MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP ordinary lens, and 12MP telephoto lens. Note 10 camera is able to capture images as well as other recent Samsung smartphones. Most of the improvements made to Note 10 in the camera section are the ability to record videos. Image stabilization technology has been improved and there is a new feature called Live Focus Video. This feature allows us to capture the ‘bokeh’ background blur effect in portrait mode.
